Paris day 1

– Thursday, June 25, 2009

After a way to early flight and checking in to the hotel Mama Shelter in the 20th district of Paris, a very affordable hotel btw, it was time to get to work. Since we are always a bit optimistic when we schedule Paris, the morning started with a canceled meeting followed by a short RRL-hunt in the Ralph Lauren shop and a quick stop at Colette. First meeting, Maison Martin Margiela where we looked at all the collections (1, 4, 10, 14, 11, 22) Men, women, accessories and shoes in that order. 5 hours later we realized that the Dries Van Noten-show, that we planned to attend started in about 4 minutes. 10 minutes too late there was still a long cue outside Bourse, where the show was held. Rain, thunder and a very beautiful location as well as collection. Now home with the metro, quick dinner, TV, sleep. Long day tomorrow.

Helnöjd. Uppstyrt, bra standard och ett väldigt bra pris. Kommer nog aldrig mer bo i Le Marais där man blir rånad bara för läget.

Trevlig resa
