Reindeer blood on your oxford cotton shirt?

– Tuesday, July 7, 2009

For autumn Nom de Guerre travel to the arctic equipped with an amazingly rude mix of survival woodman shirts, dressed waistcoats and chunky woollen cardigans. As long as the Surveillance division cape is neatly rested on your back, who cares if you spill some reindeer blood on your oxford cotton shirt? As usual, the clothes are constructed to be worn. Materials include rubberised cotton, silk, flecked wool and raw denim. And the keeping you warm part is just a bonus.

With or without a grizzly bear slung over your shoulders, this is a pretty good excuse for spending wintertime up north. And don't worry if there isn't tundra in your neighbourhood - this winter wear works for walking the dog around the block as well. Snow dust on shoulders not included. We expect the AW09 collection from Nom de Guerre to drop late August. Meanwhile, here is some pics we took at the Capsule fair earlier this year and from the official lookbook.
